His practice marries the unveiling of African American heritage with Afrofuturism, examining the tradition of African American militant insurgents in war, work born from an unconventional path into art, developed while working as a therapist after playing football at the University of Cincinnati and earning a master's in Applied Behavior Analysis. His work has been exhibited at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art and shown commercially throughout New York, with residencies at Skowhegan and The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, and features in the Chrysler Museum of Art, Vogue, and Cultured Magazine.
