His intimate, subversive portraits feature recurring motifs of butterflies, bees, and geometric patterns carrying iconographic weight within his practice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePrinston says. He earned his BA at Texas Southern University (2016), studying abroad in Paris to focus on cultural studies of the African Diaspora, and his MFA at the New York Academy of Art (2019).
