They create sculpture, installation, and video work centered on Black embodiment and ecology, drawing from their own life: reflecting on the intersection of their identities, chronic illness-disability, and queerness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorking primarily in sculpture and installation, V uses materials from the earth, clay, soil, root structures, to create scenes of nature and the body that exist outside their original contexts, making multi-layered connections between clay (terra), nature, and the body.
