๐™ˆ๐™ฎ ๐™‹๐™š๐™ค๐™ฅ๐™ก๐™š., a group exhibition celebrating the limitlessness of the Black network, brings together five figurative painters whose practices explore the communities they love. In partnership with NYC Culture Club, Good Black Art presents Adrian Armstrong, Laurena Finรฉus, Jewel Ham, Tae Ham, and Mario Joyce, September 8 - November 5 at NYC Culture Club. In their distinct styles, the artists craft scenes from the dance floor, domestic gatherings, portraits of friendship, family, and fragments of Black history, presence, and future, attempting to articulate the unique identities of their community.

Works will be available for bidding on Artsy September 8 - 22, with digital certificates of title and authenticity backed by Fairchain. A portion of sale proceeds will benefit Derrick Adams' The Last Resort Artist Retreat (TLRAR) Residency, to ensure our efforts in uplifting the Black community continue beyond this group show.

To amplify Black voices beyond the walls of this gallery, our five artists and the exhibition itself will be featured in an upcoming docu-series. The film will give audiences a behind the scenes look at what it means to be a Black emerging artist in the beginning stages of their career.
