"6" is an abstract artist based in Brooklyn. During their residency at the School of Visual Arts, they discovered using spices as a way to showcase their creative, spiritual and archival practices.

Their current "Spicework" Series (also known as "Labor//Love.") pays homage to and draws inspiration from both their maternal and paternal grandmothers. Both artists in their own rights, their teachings have guided "6" in these pieces.
