"6" is a Brooklyn-based abstract artist working at the intersection of memory, ritual, and material. During a residency at the School of Visual Arts, "6" began using spices as a medium, turning creative, spiritual, and archival practice into a single act.

The resulting Spicework series, also known as Labor//Love, draws from the teachings of "6"'s maternal and paternal grandmothers, both artists in their own right, whose influence shapes every piece.
