emerging Somali-Indian multidisciplinary artist based in Ottawa and Montreal. Her practice
spans mixed media painting and video art.

Through the reworking of family photo albums, Sarah-Mecca's work addresses her cultural history, using her practice as a way to connect with her heritage and explore concepts of migration, familial history, and discrimination.
