Brendon's series of paintings, inspired by sailors, began with "Couple Breeze (2021)" during the pandemic, referencing Alvin Baltrop's iconic photography. This series explores the archetype's connections with homoerotic and Black symbols, especially in Brazil. "Celo Ocean (2023)" continues this exploration, aiming to give identity to these dualistic figures, representing both earthly and oceanic realms.
