A photo of my late Grandmother Eureen Brathwaite and I alongside a winning scratch off ticket. Scratch off tickets were a way of bonding that my grandmother frequently shared with me. This work is a part of my Grid Frame series that archives my own family history by using the grid to highlight the beauty of black individuals and preserve memories.
