Everyday

Everyday is a three-part video seriesfrom Good Black Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, created alongside TheTime Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure, the landmark exhibitionof 28 Black and African diasporic contemporary artists. Conceived by Good BlackArt founder Phillip Collins with creative direction by GBA and cinematographyby Elizabeth Leitzell, the series carries the exhibition's spirit off themuseum walls and into the world.

Each episode of the documentary seriesexplores one of the exhibition's three pillars: Double Consciousness, Past andPresence, and Our Aliveness. From the energy of Black music to the ability tothrive in spaces not built for us, Everyday celebrates the often invisiblemoments that define Black contemporary life, from Philadelphia to across thenation and around the world.
