Everyday was created alongside The Time Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure, the landmark exhibition of 28 Black and African diasporic contemporary artists, and each episode explores one of the exhibition's three pillars. This episode takes on Double Consciousness, the theory W.E.B. Du Bois introduced over a century ago, as Angela and Thomas map it onto how they navigate their professional lives.
