GOOD TALKS

EPISODE 3

The Men of MY PEOPLE (Tae Ham, Adrian Armstrong & Mario Joyce)

For our third episode of Good Talks, founder Phillip Collins sat down with three artists from Good Black Art's debut exhibition, MY PEOPLE, Tae Ham, Adrian Armstrong, and Mario Joyce, fresh off the show's opening to talk creative practice, recent accomplishments, and what's next.

Each artist brings a distinct lens to contemporary Black identity: Tae Ham pushes boundaries with futuristic visual art that questions preconceived notions of race and identity, Adrian Armstrong's multidisciplinary approach explores the complexities of identity and community, and Mario Joyce fuses traditional technique with contemporary themes to reflect the duality of modern Black existence.

"I'm ready to share a different narrative."
