The aim is to shed light on the prevalent portrayal of Black characters solely with electrical abilities in media, while acknowledging the rich diversity of powers among Black superheroes. Through this depiction, the artist challenges this narrow representation by imagining a scene where powers are shared among individuals in a seance-like gesture, emphasizing community empowerment and breaking free from stereotypical perceptions of Black superheroes.
