In Deja's life, she has been in 6 car accidents. It ranges from her car hydroplaning and skidding yards off of the road, to being a passenger and getting T-boned by a driver then landing in a ditch. Intense flashbacks remind her that a car crash can happen at any time! The thoughts of being injured or killed in a car accident cloud her thoughts daily. This painting is a visual depiction of her intense and ongoing fears of wrecks.
