Corey Wash (b. Baltimore, 1993) is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works between New York City and Los Angeles. She initially moved to NYC in 2011 to pursue photography and modeling before moving into painting and drawing, developing a distinctive style in a palette reminiscent of papel picado.

Wash's work centers on a genderless character she created to voice the internal monologues most people keep private, touching on mental health, politics, race, and media in a lightly veiled caricature of contemporary life. Her honest, sharp-witted visual language has been exhibited in solo and group shows across the country, including a mural commission for Ace Hotel Palm Springs.
