Corrine Slade (b. 1998, Montclair, New Jersey) is a painter who depicts Black women in sublime, imagined natural environments, retreats for solace that do not exist in this world. Her practice is driven by an ever-increasing need for escapism.

Corrine's work has been exhibited at the Museum of Science and Industry's "Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition," New Image Art Gallery in Los Angeles, The Breeder in Athens, Greece, and Frieze London, among others. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in May 2020 and currently resides in Chicago.
