Holly McWhorter is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and designer, a native of Philadelphia and longtime resident of New York before relocating to Copenhagen. Her abstract artwork explores the ways color and graphic form interact to evoke mood, concept, and memory, informed by her background as an interior architect and graphic designer.

Her practice blends art, craft, design, and filmmaking, emphasizing composition, the illusion of depth, and how design and aesthetic history shape our experience of the world. Her work has shown in group exhibitions in New York including at The Other Art Fair, and her prints have been described as sourcing art from within the African Diaspora.
