Kamila Soares is a young artist based in São Paulo, Brazil. To her, painting is something that took her by surprise, but has connected her back to her childhood.

Kamila's goal as an artist is to paint black people until she is no longer asked why she should paint only black people. She wants to paint people, stories and details that no one sees: the vulnerable, the mistreated and the misunderstood members of the Black community.
