Megan Lewis

Megan Lewis (b. 1989, Baltimore, MD) is a versatile artist based in her hometown, specializing in painting, mural art, and furniture design. She earned her BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design (2011), and wields a palette knife with precision to create dynamic compositions featuring bold geometric patterns and rich textures, some incorporating Ankara fabric from her travels to Johannesburg.

Megan is the first Black woman commissioned to design artwork for Baltimore's Penn Metro Station, with murals appearing at Oriole Park, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, and beyond. Her concept commissions include Doritos, Target, HBO Max, and the US Open BLM exhibit at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
