Oluwaseni Akinyemi

Oluwaseni Akinyemi is a visual artist and student. Through paintings and other media, his work engages the conversation of life and community using Black bodies, from the sustained idea of drama and the dramatic to everyday interactions riddled with absurdities that camouflage as chance encounters.

Oluwaseni's work explores the intimacy in human interaction, drawing on his studies at The Cooper Union, where he received his BFA. He has worked at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Robert Blackburn Printshop, and the Museum of Art and Origins.
