Omari Jesse is a multidisciplinary artist and apparel designer residing in Prince George's County, Maryland. Born in the DC metropolitan area, Jesse was predisposed to a rich sense of culture and community at an early age, which has served as the inspiration for his practice.

Traditionally an oil painter, Omari creates collage artworks reflecting his deep connection to community, memory, and personal experience, with fragments of images, textures, and materials coming together the way memories build our identities. In conjunction with his art career, he's launched an apparel line exploring the cultural nuances of his city through screen-printed and embroidered goods, and mentors young aspiring artists in his community.
