Rebecca Marimutu
Rebecca Marimutu is an artist and educator based in Baltimore, MD. She founded Anchovy Press, an independent publishing company dedicated to storytelling that centers BIPOC experiences.
Rebecca's artistic practice explores self, identity, and material tactility through photography, collage, and paper sculpture. She received her MFA in 2020 from MICA in Photographic and Electronic Media, with a concentration in Critical Studies, and currently teaches at MICA and Towson University. Recent exhibitions include Spring/Break Art Fair, Waller Gallery, Catalyst Contemporary, Black Artists Research Space, and Eubie Blake Cultural Center.
