Terrell Villiers (they/them) is a self-taught cartoon illustrator, multi-disciplinary visual artist, and event producer, first-generation American born to British-Jamaican immigrants. In their illustration work, they explore the traumas experienced growing up visibly queer in a conservative Caribbean household, creating cartoon characters and fantasy worlds as a form of survival.

Terrell says. They served as Lead Illustrator and Artistic Director of Myristica, a comic book featuring cellist and singer Kelsey Lu, and as Art Director of MASISI, a Black-Queer Caribbean party and production studio in Miami. Their work has appeared in Kaleidoscope Magazine, Teen Vogue, Afropunk, and Gucci campaigns.
