V Walton is a Maryland-based interdisciplinary artist and educator. They create sculpture, installation, and video work centered on Black embodiment and ecology, drawing from their own life: reflecting on the intersection of their identities, chronic illness-disability, and queerness.

Working primarily in sculpture and installation, V uses materials from the earth, clay, soil, root structures, to create scenes of nature and the body that exist outside their original contexts, making multi-layered connections between clay (terra), nature, and the body. They hold an MFA in Ceramic Art from Alfred University and a BFA with a focus in ceramics from Towson University, and most recently redesigned the Community Gallery at the Baltimore Museum of Art as part of its Turn Again to the Earth initiative.
