Will Maxen

"I use memory to create pieces that straddle temporalities and paint as a medium."

Will's work draws from family photographs, everyday life, and art historical references to explore the complex nuances between people’s interactions within their own levels of consciousness and throughout their surrounding environments.

Recent Exhibitions: Residency Art Gallery; Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art; Open Source Artspace New Haven; and the Museum of Northern California Art.
